When we sent a survey recently, asking how we could best support you in this challenging time, many of you said you needed access to new and high quality video. So, we’ve launched a comprehensive project to continually add new and varied content to Ed.Flicks - Exchange’s video subscription service that can be used by anyone, but especially college instructors and program directors. Dan Huber and Roger Neugebauer are spearheading this effort, after conversations to learn what you need most.
We’ll soon be adding video from indoor and outdoor early education classrooms that can be used for observation purposes. This will help college students (who often cannot go into early childhood classrooms to do practicum work right now), and program directors who are looking for great professional development tools.
Today we are offering everyone free access to one of our newest Ed.Flicks videos – an interview with popular author and play advocate Rusty Keeler about how supporting children’s risky play can build their resilience. Watch it here: www.childcareexchange.com/ed-flicks
Stay tuned as we’ll keep you informed as we regularly add new content; and let us know if you have requests. We truly hope this will be a great support to you at a time where we all need a little help from our friends.
