The World Forum on Early Care and Education gathered advocates for young children and their families from around the world 1999 to 2003 in Honolulu, Singapore, Athens, Auckland, and Acapulco. The community was incubating: learning from and about each other, enjoying culture and diversity, sharing mission. During the World Forum in Montreal in 2005, the World Forum community began to see possibilities and make plans. In Malaysia at World Forum 2007, the community got to work.The work of the World Forum is happening all the time, all around the world through Working Forums and Working Projects. This work reflects the particular missions and interests of participants. We invite everyone to participate in this work by contributing to a project that is already in place or by creating a new project.
